Our Commitment
A Site Everyone Can Use
JBI Wealth Management wants every visitor, including people who rely on assistive technology, to be able to read, navigate and interact with this website. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project.
This statement describes the accessibility options built into the site, the measures behind them, the limitations we know about, and how to tell us when something is in your way.
Built Into The Site
Accessibility Options
Open the Accessibility control in the header or Accessibility Options in the footer. The panel opens from the left and closes with Done, the close button or Escape. The controls stay out of the way of page content.
These optional reading preferences do not enable or replace keyboard access, a screen reader or your browser’s zoom. Those tools can be used without opening the panel.
- Page text size: enlarge page text from 100% to 150%. Use your browser’s zoom to enlarge the entire site, including the panel.
- Reading: increase line and letter spacing, use Arial for page text, and underline links.
- Page colors: choose the original design or light, dark and high contrast palettes. Images and charts keep their own colors.
- Motion: stop decorative animations and automatic video playback. The site also respects your device’s reduced motion setting.
- Audio: mute this site’s audio and video players. This does not control your screen reader, device audio or other websites.
- Navigation: add a stronger keyboard focus outline or choose a larger mouse pointer. Custom pointers require a mouse or trackpad.
Preferences are stored only in this browser on this device. If your browser blocks storage, they work for the current page and the panel tells you they cannot be saved. Reset preferences restores the original display; your device settings still apply.
Move Faster
Keyboard Access
Use Tab to move forward and Shift+Tab to move back. Enter follows links; Enter or Space activates buttons. Escape closes the navigation menu or accessibility panel and returns focus to the control that opened it. A “Skip to content” link appears at the first Tab stop on every page.
In Safari on a Mac, Option+Tab includes links. You can also enable “Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage” in Safari’s Advanced settings.
Use the labeled submenu buttons to expand desktop navigation. In the accessibility panel, arrow keys move between the page color and pointer choices. Screen reader shortcuts remain available through your own assistive technology; the site does not add single-letter shortcuts.
Behind The Scenes
How We Build For Accessibility
Our work includes labeled controls, semantic page structure, text alternatives, visible focus, readable contrast, and layouts that adapt to smaller screens and larger text. We check changes with automated tools and browser interaction tests.
This is an ongoing accessibility effort, not a certification of full WCAG conformance. Automated checks do not cover every barrier or replace testing with people who use assistive technology.
Being Honest
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet meet every guideline:
- Market data in the ticker comes from a third party and may lag behind or lack detailed descriptions.
- Some older article images and downloadable documents were produced before our current standards and may have limited text alternatives.
- Some charts, older content, documents and external services may need further accessibility improvements. Optional color palettes do not recolor chart graphics or images. Further testing with screen readers and other assistive technology across devices is still needed.
We are working through these items and update this statement as they are resolved.
