Lennar builds and sells homes and provides related services through its businesses. Homebuyer demand connects the company to household finances, mortgage availability, and local housing conditions.
What the share price tells you.
A share is a small ownership interest in a company. The quoted price is what one share recently traded for. A higher share price does not, by itself, mean a company is larger, better, or more expensive relative to its earnings.
